Sources and Methodology
Credibility is the product. Every content page on this site declares its sources.

Separating fact from interpretation
Every content page is divided into explicit blocks: 'historical fact' covers documented origin, dating and verifiable context; 'interpretation' presents a specific tradition's reading, always identified by that tradition's name — never presented as universal truth.
Types of sources used
We prioritize academic and historiographical works (such as Michael Dummett on Tarot history, Nicholas Campion on the history of astrology, or Pierre Verger and Reginaldo Prandi on the Orixás), primary texts from each tradition (such as Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos or the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra), and reference works widely recognized within each specific tradition.
Review
Every page displays the date of its last review. Factual corrections reported by readers are investigated and incorporated when warranted.
